Paying for college can be difficult. The process of financial help is really confusing and both parents and students struggle with the concept of the difference between a grant and a loan. You see, subsidies are a gift from the Government that can be used to pay for school. You will never have to pay back that money. Loans are on the other hand, just as the name implies, a loan. They interest and will have to be paid as soon as you finish school. Some people believe that subsidies are impossible to get. This is not true. There are grants out there and this can really help you to go to school without getting buried in debt.
