The ruins of the former Chicago & Eastern Illinois Railroad Passenger Station as it appeared in April 2011. This C&EI depot and was completed in 1917 at a cost of 0,000. By the mid-to-late 1960s passenger rail service to Danville had largely disappeared.
The City of Danville is the seat of Vermilion County, and is located in East Central
