New Post Office Outposts Aim To Vanquish Long Lines

Joliet's downtown post office is being looked at for closing. (Mary Owen/Tribune). Joliet's downtown post office is facing closure, and the U.S. Postal Service is asking for customer feedback on the issue.

And like the Post, I too can sympathize with small towns losing their post office, however I sympathize much more with those (taxpayers) who have to make up the billions in the Post Office's budget deficit each year.
