If golf is not the best reputation in protecting the environment, and with good reason – golf courses, more or less large areas of grass maintenance in need of constant water fertilizers, and maintenance (at gas mowers general). The golf courses carved into the landscape and displace natural native trees, grasses and wildlife.
But not all are terrible. A handful of golf courses around the world with the built environment both in mind as the placement of sand traps and water holes. The owners of golf courses are using native plants in the landscape of fields, thus reducing or eliminating the use of chemical fertilizers, and taking into account existing in the landscape design and construction. Green golf courses to its addition to the large buffer zones streets – ideal habitat for insects, animals and plants. These owners keep a watch on a careful use of water and chemicals and construction techniques in building more environmentally friendly use of their clubhouse and other amenities.
So if you are a golfer interested in green trend and swings his clubs in a course that would be disappointed not to move to one of five golf courses green. (Text: Shea Gunther)
