United Airlines computer systems around the world are back online after falling for more than five hours this afternoon and evening.
The airline says a computer error that interrupted the exit, the airport management and reserves.
The grounded planes and stranded thousands of passengers, many of them in Hawaii.
The team started again tonight online about nineteen Hawaii time.
Passengers said one of the most difficult was not knowing how long it would take to solve the problem.
Many of them just wait at the airport, hoping for the best.
It is only after six years, and Mariella Grace Waite Mililani and had to be in the air.
Instead, they are set at the airport.
“I find it very boring and I do not like,” Waite says Grace.
The girls, along with his mother Tairita are on track to Maine to visit family.
“I was very excited and it was very difficult to sleep,” Waite says Grace.
“If I knew this would happen would be less excited about this,” Mariella said Waite.
His United Airlines flight to Chicago had to leave at 3:57 pm.
They arrived here just after 2 hours and discovered the computers were down.
“We were told that either 2 hours or 2 weeks. It’s disappointing for me because I could not look at our luggage because nobody knew any of the flight numbers at all,” said Waite Tairita.
