Malumaat

Malumaat

k visited the planet Bohra today, for the first time in a long time, and I am obliged to say a few words about my sense of disappointment.

Planet Bohra is wrong.

When first launched, I blogged about the planet Bohra-how there was unique in the way of the people by their religious beliefs. How did you get a much broader voice on day-to-day concerns, life and reality of mumineen worldwide done?

My concern was all those many months ago-as one of the comments are very learned in my post – those things in the context on planet Bohra expressed. When you read something on a blog, it has the advantage to know something about the author or more information about the author of the other posts or of the context in which is the post to read. There are many things that you learn that something about the writer can.

Given the fact that these words were written that issue stretches the truth. Planet Bohra now includes Malumaat, ZenInfosys sources and feeds on Mumineen.org Jamaat official for a variety of sites (Singapore and Malunga) on the first page at the time of writing. The miraculous Aziz Poonawala manages to keep his own, but even he is not much reduce this monopoly.

These resources are dominant for a variety of reasons. They are great central news portals we news of Maula and rightly speaks of what is happening in the rest of the world. These centralized resources have many journalistic extraction as a collection of information centres and are great resources. These sites are full of information and images of the religious ceremonies, religious festivals and tours of the great and good.

I have two reasons for my sense of disappointment. My first concern if a reader is that planet Bohra a very narrow life segment reflect our lives, such as he lived. The reflection only a very partial selection: image of the hierarchical orthodoxy of unperturbed cookie cutting tools. If each person spends every day for religious events, every night attending dignitaries and welcome every night on common prayer.

These sites are in some sense on the line of the party and how are expected to live. –They are targeting our public religious life. What I’m curious, what I feel is lost in all the Orthodox, the meaning of the wrist real Bohra. Really how our lives? Where are they the things that every person?

There are votes on these sites do not speak of the things that every day was how punishment for Ramadan, how difficult it is to wake up to keep children during the holiday of the summer or what rare entertaining is that HSBC has decided to ban a browser which is apparently good with the works of i-banca. It was this vote that I wanted to know more about the planet Bohra.

I think their silence is heartbreaking.

My second concern is as a writer. I feel that context critical context, so essential to write about personal on a religious planet now fully in danger. Between akhbar, not a normal post view, there is no margin for an element that is not strictly comply with the requirements of the coincidence of orthodoxy. Their fate is out of place, an unwanted rotation of dissatisfaction in a lake placid, New York soon to be overwhelmed by the affirmation of orthodoxy.

This creates a sort of auto censorship comments. I wonder now or should my blog planet Bohra-because it makes me believe that confirm my religious identity is at the same time, my freedom of expression and thought. I wonder if you have to write this post, because it also appears on the planet cause momentary Bohra and plush. During this loop will be maybe understand evil and evil interpreted as a challenge to orthodoxy. Others will perhaps the quality of my faith. Lord knows that kind of extra problems is not necessary.

A perverse form of self-censorship.

The long-term solution seems simple to me. When I get back to my blog-and if I want to here-feel free to give me what I need to have an eye Bohra on the planet. If the if the new beast that is now in, I have my blog in the abolition of the lists should remain.

At the moment, I believe, however, is the withdrawal the easy way. I love the idea of planet Bohra, and that the world is trying to reflect. It would like to think that broader and more real. I don’t think this is asking too much.
